For this project, I created a skateboard deck inspired by the idiom “me in a nutshell,” using illustration and collage-style imagery to visually represent my personality without relying on text. Rather than depicting a literal shell, I interpreted the “nutshell” as a curated collection of objects and symbols that reflect my identity—playful pink tones, nostalgic elements like a rotary phone and disco balls, bold graphic typography, glam references, and pop-culture-inspired visuals. The layered composition creates a sense of energy and controlled chaos, mirroring the balance between fun, confidence, and sentimentality within my personality. By replacing the phrase with expressive imagery, I transformed a common idiom into a vibrant, self-reflective visual narrative that captures who I am in one cohesive design.
